Maine Group – Event Management Inc., trading as “Maine Group” is under the capable leadership of Alex Maine, an accomplished event producer with almost two decades of industry experience. Following his formal education, which encompassed Media Studies, Photography, Music Technology and Information Communication Technology, Alex cultivated a versatile skill set that enabled him to comprehend the intricacies of organizing, marketing, and executing events of diverse scales.

Alex’s initial foray into creating original productions involved the establishment of several variety shows in the UK (2004-06), aimed at scouting and showcasing promising talents. Subsequently, he shifted his focus to orchestrating award ceremonies in the UK and Canada (2007-14), which continues to thrive with financial backing from the private sector.

In late 2016, Maine Group emerged as an umbrella organization encompassing various ongoing and pre-production projects. Alex’s journey led him from his homeland in England to Prince Edward Island, Canada, where he settled with his family in 2013, ultimately solidifying the transition in 2016, resulting in the birth of Maine Group.

A significant portion of our ongoing endeavors revolves around entertainment conventions (2016-23). We have achieved great success in hosting events with attendance ranging from 500 to 4,000 attendees in various cities, including Toronto, Vancouver, London, Los Angeles, New York, Glasgow, and numerous others.

As an event management company, Maine Group collaborates with numerous like-minded clients and partners, but our true passion lies in crafting our own unique events. Many of the projects affiliated with Maine Group were conceived from the ground up. What initially began as simple concepts have now blossomed into fully realized productions, many of which have played a pivotal role in boosting tourism and contributing to the local economy.

Maine Group boasts extensive expertise in a wide array of fields, including art displays, award ceremonies, book launches, conventions and trade fairs, corporate events, dinners and galas, festivals, live music performances, marathons, meetings and seminars, networking and social gatherings, parties and celebrations, theatre productions, weddings, and a host of other event categories. Our versatility and proficiency enable us to excel in crafting memorable experiences across diverse event types.

In 2019, Alex teamed up with his wife, Natalie, to assist with the surging volume of productions. Natalie’s expertise in graphic and print production has been a vital asset to Maine Group, playing a pivotal role in its achievements. This, coupled with collaborations with external suppliers and freelance production assistants across the globe, has culminated in a highly successful operation, positioning Maine Group as one of the foremost event management companies in eastern Canada.
